Bonjour mes amies!
I’m back in cloudy Essex after a beautiful two weeks in Dordogne in France.
Sam and I went to Sainsbury’s today to stock up on some food for the week. We had already decided on lamb steaks and salad for dinner but as we were wandering around the shop we were drawn to French baguettes, croissants, pain au chocolats and in my case, suddenly craving creme brûlée. It seems that the French diet has rubbed off on us. Although, Sam has always loved a freshly baked baguette.
I have thought extensively over the last two weeks about how I would blog my holiday. I quickly came to the conclusion that I couldn’t do it any justice in just one post. There was just so much I had seen and learned whilst away that cramming it all in just didn’t feel right. So, over the next few weeks or so I’ll be posting all my favourite parts of my holiday, including and not limited to: food I ate, what our villa looked like, the scenery, the landscape, French towns I visited, my tips and tricks for driving abroad, holiday make up and maybe some summer fashion!
To be honest, I’m really quite excited about it. I even vlogged some parts of my trip so I’ll be working on a video over the next few weeks too. All in all I took over 1600 photos and over 240 minutes of video in two weeks. It really was an amazing trip and one that I won’t forget.
